Basic knowledge of excavators

1. Excavators are fixed assets with high economic investment. In order to improve their service life and achieve greater economic benefits, equipment must be equipped with designated personnel, machines, and positions, with clear responsibilities. When it is necessary to transfer positions, equipment disclosure should be conducted.
2. After the excavator enters the construction site, the driver should first observe the geological conditions of the working face and the surrounding environment. There should be no obstacles within the rotation radius of the excavator to avoid scratching or damaging the vehicle.
3. After the machine is started, it is prohibited for any personnel to stand inside the bucket, on the shovel arm, or on the track to ensure safe production.
4. During the operation of the excavator, it is prohibited for any personnel to stay or walk within the turning radius or under the bucket. Non drivers are not allowed to enter the cab and touch or move around, and training drivers is not allowed to avoid damage to electrical equipment.
When the excavator is moved, the driver should first observe and sound the horn before moving to avoid safety accidents caused by people on the mechanical side. The position after moving should ensure that there are no obstacles in the space of the excavator's rotation radius, and illegal operations are strictly prohibited.
After the work is completed, the excavator should be moved away from low-lying areas or the edge of the trench, parked on flat ground, and doors and windows should be closed and locked.
7. Drivers must carry out daily maintenance, repair, and upkeep of equipment, keep daily records of equipment usage, and report any problems found with the vehicle to repair it promptly.
8. The driver's cabin must be clean and tidy, and the surface of the vehicle must be kept clean, free of dust and oil stains; Develop the habit of cleaning cars after work.
9. Drivers should keep daily shift records in a timely manner, keep statistics on the work content of the day, handle procedures for odd jobs or zero items outside the project in a timely manner, and keep records for settlement purposes.
10. Drivers are strictly prohibited from drinking alcohol and driving under the influence during work hours. If discovered, economic penalties will be imposed, and any economic losses caused will be borne by the driver.
